As most of you are probably aware of by now, the guild has undergone a bit of a shake up in the pre-Cataclysm madness. Many people who were staples of the <Concur> landscape have branched out to form their own guild. Some are worried that this means the end for us, but I can assure that it's not the case!
After having a nice chat to Marzi, it's been decided that I will take over <Concur> effective immediately. Expect changes, kids. I've already started re-organising the ranks and I'll be in talks with several people in the coming days about taking on much needed officer roles.
I'll also be speaking to our lovely raid leaders about what they'd like to do come raiding time in Cataclysm. While we will always be a casual guild, it's been mentioned that we can perhaps tweak a few things here and there to improve our success. We'll keep you all up to date on what we decide.
Finally, I just want to reassure you all that <Concur> isn't going anywhere. We will keep on being a guild of casual, laid back folks who like to enjoy the game in a friendly, maybe not very sober, playing environment. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask me! |
